The stage is devoted to the revealing of the molecular structure and patterns of self-organizing monolayers of derivatives of normal paraffins, liquid crystals (diazole derivatives) and aromatics (rubrene) adsorbed on atomically smooth substrates of highly oriented pyrolytic graphite and reconstructed surface of Au (111). Molecular structure of monolayer films of arachidic acid and hexadecylboron acid, primary alcohols, cyanobiphenyls, diazole, silanes have been established. Photoluminescence spectra and trap states for charge carriers of organic nanostructured films of rubrene of different morphology were investigated. Such films could potentially be used as buffer layers for molecular electronic devices constructing. Lateral conductivity of the diazole molecule films allows us to consider the diazole-interface (111) as perspective system for the construction of sandwich structures of molecular electronics, for example, for the development of organic transistors.
