Objective of the project stage is to develop mathematical models for calculation of individual eye lens dose of medical staff of intervention radiology procedures. Study methods: analytical, computer simulation. Review of publications on eye lens exposure dosimetry for interventional radiology staff was performed. Typical exposure conditions concerning energy, angular dependence, and protective means were studied as well as exposure scenarios. A trial model of the system "source-scatterer-shielding- human body " was started. Generalized results on eye lens exposure conditions of medical staff of intervention radiology are presented in a progress report.
