The purpose of the research work is to study the interaction of atomic particles of thermal energy with the surface of solids, including solids with the system of quantum centers with localized electrons and nanodots; drawing up the mechanisms of electronic excitation of the surface and development on their basis the methods of investigation of physicochemical processes on the surface, and development of micromechanism of interaction of atomic particles of thermal energy with the surface of solids with the system of quantum centers with localized electrons and nanodots, as well as the development of new principles for determining of surface filling with atoms in arbitrary units (with sensitivity to10-8 monolayer), in particular in dynamic conditions. As a research method is used the luminescent optical method. For the study of the heterogeneous luminescence, photoluminescence, chemostimulated and thermostimulated luminescence and for the excitation of the samples with atoms of different types and plasma it was developed an experimental setup. The models of quantum mechanisms of high-effective electron accommodation on nanocatalysts and solids with a system of quantum dots and nanostructures were developed. The scientific bases concerning the luminescent control of concentration of adsorbing atoms on the surface from the gas medium and plasma, in free-radical technological processes, such as semiconductor epitaxy, heterogeneous catalysis, plasmochemistry; the atomic sensing principles for diagnostics of surface filling with atoms ("atomic probe") were developed.
