Objective: to identify the molecular - biological and cerebral mechanisms for cognitive dysfunction in consequence of low doses of ionizing radiation influence in result of accident at Chornobyl NPP as radiation senility manifestation. Methods: clinical, neurophysiological, psychometric, immunological, cellular - molecular, cultural, statistical, analytical. There investigation groups of cleanup workers and individuals exposed in utero and in early childhood as a result of the Chornobyl accident are formed. The psychopathological symptomatology with cognitive function decrease to the level of light deficiency on the ground of TERF1 gene overexpression, TERF2 and telomerase TERT genes hypoerexpression, as well as changes cell immunity parametersthat in all groups of cleanup workers of the Chornobyl NPP accident are observed. The decrease of verbal intellect, which correlates with bioelectrical brain activity, on a ground of early hematopoietic cells level increase in the exposed individuals in utero and in early childhood.
