During the first stage of SRW the research into the processes of growth and alloying of strained HES HqCdTe and QH HqTe was conducted. Theoretically there were shown advantages of the narrow-slot CdHqTe in comparison with other materials that are perspective for THz detection. The multi-unit array of detectors was designed with antennas on non-conducting substrate of finite size. Basing on this, there were proposed demands as for substrate parameters, which provides the uniformity of the matrix elements. The technological route of multi-unit arrays creation was developed on the basis of HES CHT of FPA type. The device was created for measuring THz and IR specimens sensitivity. There were researched the detection elements that are sensitive to THz and IR radiation on the basis of semiconducting CdHqTe hot electron bolometers (HEB) on thin layers CHT with controllable pn-junction. Various implementations of multi-unit FPA detectors on basis of CHT structures were created and tested, namely the linear array of detectors on basis of CHT bolometers of 'double hybrid' type and line of detectors on basis of silicon and molten quartz microlenses. The results obtained for these structures according to the noise equivalent power (NEP = 2.6 * 10-10 W / Hz 1/2) at frequency of 140 GHz show the availability of the chosen construction.
