Full scope use of the research results will improve the efficiency, reliability and service life of thermal power plants, the stability and reliability of the energy system, achieve significant savings of the natural gas consumption in district heating systems and reduce harmful emissions and greenhouse gases. Implementation of the research results will halt the inefficient use of power units in cyclic mode, by reducing the costs of start-up fuel and increasing life-cycle and reliability of the equipment, will provide an annual effect of up to 2.2 billion UAH, reduce the consumption of natural gas of up 3 billion m3 per year, or 12 billions UAH per year, create in Ukraine a new high-tech energy sector, and new jobs for qualified personnel in Power engineering and Power Machinery.
