For the first time identified environmental, microbiological and immunological risk factors for complications of bacterial etiology and established a close correlation between the incidence of influenza and URTI, microcenosis changes in the mucosa of the body, as mucosal immunity and content in the atmosphere of the lead compounds, sulfur and nitrogen. For the first time on the basis of newly developed methods of immunological and micro-ecological correction of changes in the patients with influenza and URTI evidence-based guidelines on the prevention of complications of bacterial etiology in patients with influenza and URTI, living in conditions of anthropogenic air pollution. Implementation of scientific developments in the R&D will reduce the risk of complications of bacterial etiology in average by 35.0% of patients with influenza and URTI, living in conditions of anthropogenic chemical environment pollution. The economic effect of the implementation is 138,3 UAH at the rate of patient per day.
