The purpose of the research is to develop methodological approaches to remote monitoring of major intensification factors of grain and oil production on the basis of modern geographic informational technologies which combine the use of GIS, global positioning systems, multispectral satellite scanning data. Research methods: field and cameral methods including mathematical and statistical data processing means, methods of interpreting spatial imagery, analytical research methods. The scientific novelty lies in development of new methodical approaches to the assessment of grain and oil production components based on modern technologies. According to the research results there were developed methodological approaches to modern organization of remote monitoring of major intensification factors of grain and oil production in Ukraine, methodical recommendations for organization of remote monitoring of agronomically significant soil parameters as major intensification factors of grain and oil production. Economical effect of the implemented technique is achieved by reducing spending on related works (about 25%), speeding up the monitoring process and increasing the accuracy of acquired data by 5-6 times.
