It was determined that the rigidity of granular soils is a function of the conditions of destruction and is determined by its initial density, particle size and moisture content, as well as the rigidity of individual grains and the initial compressive stresses. For soil models we propose to describe soil sliding resistance that occurs due to dilatancy with the magnitude of the coefficient of adhesion and coefficient of friction that more accurately describes the physical nature of the deformation of soil that is a subject for dilatancy . Studies of elastic-strain state of medium and large grained soils showed signs of disorder and non-periodicity of resistance changes from the strain degree. Two torsion installations were developed and produced and patents of Ukraine were received. The structure of protective anti-sliding installation for local protection of objects from sliding was developed and the patent of Ukraine was received.
