Research subject is a thermal destruction in the two-stage process under the thermal utilization of the organic fraction of solid municipal wastes. General fundamental problem is to perform the fundamental theoretical and practical studies of the two-stage process combining the multistage circulating pyrolysis of dry organic wastes with the gasification technology of SMW wet wastes "tails" in the eco-friendly and energy-saving mode. To solve this problem the project was developed. The particular fundamental task within the general problem, the solution of which is assumed in the project, is to develop the fundamental bases of a new domestic eco-friendly and energy-saving technology of SMW utilization using the two-stage method through the theoretical and experimental studies of thermodynamic processes of the organic waste fraction destruction. Project aim is to develop the theoretical bases of the energy-saving technology of two-stage process of thermal utilization of the SMW organic fraction obtaining the alternative high-energy gaseous fuel. Main project tasks: тhe analysis of the current research state of morphological composition of possible mixtures of organic fraction of solid municipal wastes (OFSMW), and also the analysis of their impact on the environment and the human being not only as the wastes mixture in general but also as the individual components; тhe comparative analysis of the main methods of OFSMW recycling, including the obtaining of the alternative fuel; тhe research of physical and chemical characteristics of model waste mixtures taking into account the average statistical energy and quantitative characteristics of the accumulated OFSMW; тhe development of the mathematical model and basic principles of thermodynamics of technological process for obtaining the alternative high-energy gaseous fuel from the organic fraction of solid municipal wastes using the energy-saving method of the two-stage process of thermal destruction; тhe development of the fundamental basis to produce a new utilization technological line in which the principle of organic wastes recycling using the two-stage process of thermal destruction is implemented; тhe approbation of theoretical and technological developments under the development of OFSMW recycling equipment to obtain the alternative high-energy gaseous fuel; тhe obtaining of experimental data according to the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the alternative high-energy gaseous fuel; тhe recommendations development for the design of working plants and equipment on the OFSMW recycling using the energy-saving method of the two-stage process of thermal destruction.
