The fact that the object of fraud is goods, which are produced from material that contain lower quantity of natural fibres than it is indicated on the label of the product, is shown. The authors developed the method that allows determining mass part of wool and cotton in two-component yarn of cotton (viscose)-polyether, wool-polyacrylonitrile, wool- polyester according to the data of quantitative analysis, which were obtained by using one of the optical methods.
