Purpose: determination of scientifically based requirements for creating organizational-administrative documents and preparation of the new edition of the State Standard of Ukraine 4163 «State unified documentation system. Unified system for organizational-administrative documentation. Requirements for documents» (hereinafter – the SSU 4163). The main research objectives: a) to determine the composition of regulatory legal acts, which define the requirements for organizational-administrative documents; b) to determine the nature of changes in the text of the SSU 4163; c) to prepare a new edition of the SSU 4163. Methods of the research: simulation, method of system analysis and synthesis, comparative method, method of document study systematization. Theoretical and practical results: was prepared the new edition of the State Standard of Ukraine 4163. Novelty of the research: extensive review of the State Standard of Ukraine 4163 is not yet implemented. Scope of implementation: development of the new edition of the State Standard of Ukraine 4163, approved by regulatory-methodological commission of the State Archival Service of Ukraine, will allow to introduce the draft of the Standard to the Standardization Plan for 2014 and its implementation. Efficiency of implementation: the implementation of the State Standard of Ukraine 4163 will allow to unify the processes of creation of organizational-administrative documents, improve their arrangement.
