Active geodynamic zones and zones of local gas zonality have been delineated based on tectonophysical stress and deformation field parameters within the limits of undermined minefields of closed mines. Reliable methane migration paths in undermined rock mass based on its geomechanical characteristics have been evaluated. Rock mass deformation characteristics during secondary undermining and properties of technogenic methane reservoirs have been determined taking into account the main rock mass deformation components in the zone of complete subsidence movement. Experimental areas have been delineated and prediction of gas drainage parameters within their boundaries has been made. Algorithms and software for simulation of nonstationary problem for methane leakage in rock mass have been worked out and developed and nonstationary mass-transfer processes in undermined coal-rock complex have been simulated.
