At the first stage of the SRW execution the condition of research was analyzed and methods of estimating biophysical parameters of plant groupings based on remote sensing data were studied. The possibility of remote estimation of biophysical parameters in many plant groups and hyperspectral data satellite imagery is considered. A review of information products estimation of biophysical parameters that are provided by modern systems of satellite imagery NOAA, EOS (MODIS), SPOT, Proba-V and those that are planned for launch - Biomass satellite of the European Space Agency is carried out. Defining characteristics of biophysical parameters of plant groupings by laser location also considered. Considerable attention is given to works, which examine the effect manifestations of spectrapolarization effect in plants and discussed of role of polarization in the researches of condition of vegetation. Spectrapolarization indicator as an additional characteristic of forest vegetation groups and agrophytocenosis is submitted. The analysis of modern hyperspectral sensors and hyperspectral methods graphic spectroscopy for the analysis of groups of plants and pigment content carried out. Regression and dynamic model for estimation of biophysical parameters of vegetation cover is considered. The overview of current methods of classification of spectral data in terms of their practical application to the problems of condition estimation of plant groupings is provided. Application of these methods is illustrated by SVM method (Support Vector Machines - SVM) and neural networks. The modern model of estimation of biophysical parameters of plants using SVM regression is considered. Selection of basic biophysical parameters of plant groups, which can be determined remotely, were implemented, research of features changes in their range of different types of vegetation cover during the vegetation season in different landscape and climatic zones of Ukraine on the example of selected test areas were conducted.
