PURPOSE - improvement of the unified system of handling different types of products circulating in Ukraine (for example, pharmaceutical products and dietary supplements). The system will be based on the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine, the EU and other developed countries, including hygiene and pharmacopoeial requirements. METHODS - bibliographic, sociological, physicochemical, toxicological and hygienical, microbiological and statistical. RESULTS - 128 current legislation documents of Ukraine, Russia and the EU are analyzed on the basis of which created computer comparative framework of current legislation. The survey of more than 50 laboratories which control products in Ukraine is conducted. As a part of State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Medicines we inspected more than 10 laboratories and quality control department of pharmaceutical plants in Ukraine in terms of the quality management system.The Laboratory for Production Quality Control of "IHME NAMS" have analyzed and tested more than 18,000 samples of drugs and other products for three years that are imported or produced in Ukraine.
