The sampling technique is used for the object shape reconstruction from the scattered field. To assess the suitability of the radio-wave control method for dielectric composite structures the bench experiments with two-dimensional scanning of dielectric structures with local inhomogeneities are carried out. The rigorous solution for a number of new canonical problems of the theory of diffraction of electromagnetic, acoustic and elastic waves which revealed new information parameters for diagnosing of biconical and conical shape products, hemispherical cavities on the metal surface and interfacial cracks. To assess the impact of defects on cracks-similar defects on the electromagnetic field in a nonconductive material, a new mathematical model of interaction of H-polarized plane electromagnetic wave with a thin dielectric cylindrical inclusion is proposed. The evaluation of the effects of external permanent magnetisation field on the introduced voltage of overhead eddy current transducers for the ferromagnetic materials control is carried out. The concept of forming of an information signal from eddy current primary converter for current changing is proposed. Their high sensitivity and noise immunity is confirmed by the results of experimental studies of such models.
