A series of samples with quaternary CdS1-x-ySexTey nanocrystals is obtained with a chaotic distribution of three sorts of chalcogen atoms in the anion sublattice. A three-mode type of the compositional behaviour of the phonon spectrum of the obtained quaternary nanocrystals is identified.
