Scientific novelty of the research results: non-linear non-gaussian regression models of the duration of software projects based on project effort (COCOMO models) for organic, semi-detached and embedded project types have had the further development using Johnson's normalizing transformation that enables to improve the accuracy of the duration estimation of the software projects by improvement of the distribution law approximation of the empirical data of the duration and the empirical data of the effort of software project development, and by deriving of the confidential intervals of the values of the regression models.
