Karazin popup.description2 Purpose of the work is development of the physical and mathematical models of the nonlinear bifrequency and double-mode beam-wave interaction that take into account the amplification of the input signal at basic frequency of backward surface wave and excitation of the diffraction radiation at higher harmonics of the basic frequency. Nonlinear multidimensional theory for double-mode generator-amplifier, that provides existence of the two signals at different frequencies, is development on the basis of self-consistent approach. One of these frequencies is located at terahertz band. Investigation of the profiled focusing field effect on the interaction efficiency is performed. System and magnetostatic field parameters ranges which correspond to output signal power increase in diffraction radiation regime at third harmonic of the input signal frequency are defined.
