Such the three-dimensional surface structures are selected as the basic configuration of the ITER divertor. On the base of comparative analysis of the behavior of different grades of tungsten (rolled, sintered, deformed grains with a direction transverse to the surface) under the action of powerful plasma streams were found the cracking thresholds, dynamics of macro- and micro-cracks and their topology, certain physical effects leading to the destruction of the irradiated surfaces ejection of the molten material and the generation of dust particles. It is shown that the droplet and dust erosion mechanisms elements of three-dimensional geometry of the surface and processes at the edge of units of three-dimensional structure determines the nature of radiation damage to the so-called castellated-geometry under the influence of extreme plasma loads.
