Absorptive capacity was determined photometrically by the difference of concentrations of substances before and after adsorption. Established absorption capacity value is not directly proportional to the specific surface, and substantially depends on the pore diameter of enterosorbent and sorbate and compliance isoelectric area of enterosorbents surface in an aqueous medium and the pH of the reaction medium sorbate. As an example, silica sorbents exhibit low absorptive capacity at pH ~ 2, while polymethilsiloxan - pH ~ 5.5. Advantages was observed in case enterosorbents based on layered aluminosilicate (Smekta®) for adsorption of dyes, polymethilsiloxan (Enteroshel®) - for urea and albumin, as well as carbon sorbent Sorbeks® - for creatinine.
