The aim is to develop physical bases, methods and means for the express high-precision temperature control and complex multi-element analysis of chemical composition of metal alloys. They analyzed the current state of the express-control of temperature by portable thermometers with thermoelectric changeable transformer and thermoelectric and thermographic express-analysis of chemical composition of metal alloys in the foundry. The regularities of the influence of materials and constructions of thermoelectric changeable transformer on the dynamics of their hot junction heating in the regular thermal regime of the first kind; chemical composition and structure of iron-carbon alloys on their thermoelectric characteristics in contact with other alloys under different temperatures; conditions of comparative thermographic express analysis on the value of the known and the proposed criteria for recognition of metal alloys cooling thermograms. New methods for express thermographic and thermoelectric temperature control and chemical composition iron-carbon alloys are developed on base of established physical regularities. Portable thermometer TPC-05 with thermoelectric changeable transformer TCT, as well as the systems of thermoelectric STA-I and thermographic express- analysis of metal alloys chemical composition are designed and manufactured with the use of modern materials, microprocessor and computer technologies. Increase of accuracy and rapidity, as well as reducing the cost of control in the 1,5 - 4,0 times are established as a result of tests and research of the developed methods and means.
