In connection with the widespread introduction into clinical practice hip replacement is constantly increasing the number of errors and complications associated with it. The most common ones are: aseptic loosening of components, dislocation of the femoral head, heterotopic ossification, periprosthetic femoral fractures, suppurative complications and pain that is not associated with the instability. The development of various complications of hip replacement require revision surgery, the number of which increases every year, including in Ukraine, it certainly requires a detailed analysis of the orthopedic reasons that led to negative consequences, with a view to avoiding further. All of the above leads to the relevance of the study. On a material of the clinic conducted a detailed analysis and study of the structure of complications of total hip arthroplasty. The study involved 339 patients with complications after total hip arthroplasty in 344 cases. In this paper we study the structure, determine the cause and analyzed the results of treatment of complications of total hip arthroplasty. We used the following methods: clinical, radiological, immunological, microbiological, serological and statistical. The analysis and determine the causes of complications hip replacement as the basis for the proposed principles preoperative planning, implantation technique components and prevention of their development. Furthermore, in order to prevent complications, an algorithm selection endoprosthesis type fixing components and form a pair of friction. Based on the analysis of results of treatment of complications and improved algorithms of tactics treatment of complications of total hip arthroplasty. Compliance with the above recommendations will significantly improve the results of total hip arthroplasty has decreased in numbers, and the number of errors and complications.
