Objective - to indefity of a contribution of the oxidatic mechanism to interaction of radiation and stressful influence on higher nervous activity of rats in the conditions of a stress load after sharp total radiation in doses of 3,0 and 6,5 Gr by application of substances with antioxidant properties. Methods - behavioural, creation of stress exposure using foot shock, biochemical, statistical. It is shown that the combined influence of ionizing radiation and non radiation stress has not additive character, thus interaction in the conditions of this research has an opposite focus, reducing the general influence. . Reduction of a contribution of interaction of radiation and a stress under the influence of antioxidants indicates participation of the oxidatic mechanism. As interaction reduces reaction to the combined action in comparison with total influence of each of factors application of antioxidants in these conditions can lead to increase in the general reaction to the combined influence of these factors.
