Research objects - adsorbents: natural and modified layer silicates, reagents - cationic surfactants and cationic polyelectrolytes adsorbates - water, anionic dyes, humic acid. Methods of research - high performance liquid chromatography; atomic absorption spectrophotometry; low-temperature adsorption/desorption; quantum chemistry; molecular statistics; adsorption; extraction photometry; sorption photometry; calorimetry. Equipment - liquid chromatograph HP 1050 (DAD), atomic absorption spectrophotometer 3 115 M 1, vacuum adsorption device, microcalorimeter Calve, personal computer. Theoretical and practical results - by quantum-chemical ab initio method calculated the number of hydration and the enthalpy of hydration of organic modifier cations (alkylpyridinium and hexamethyleneguanidinium) and their complexes with layered silicates. Calculated energy effects of cation exchange reaction between the solution and the active centers of the surface silicates. By laboratory experiments simulating seal of precipitation water stations under the influence of fluid hydrophobiser potassium methylsiliconate solution of aluminum sulfate and polyhexamethyleneguanidine the optimal dose of reagents that achieve the greatest effect sealing precipitation (13-23%). Novelty - a new method for precipitate treatment waterworks, allows to speed up the process of precipitates formation and reduce their moisture. Efficiency of implementation - the method allows for the precipitation by reducing the moisture to reduce the amount of water used for the station's own needs, and to reduce the need for additional desilting installations space. Field of use - environment protection.
