Developed was a new type of nanocomposites with ZnO filler intercalated in monodimensional mesoporous Y2O3 spheric matrices of 70-400 nm diameter. The method of reaction sintering of the nanopowders was used to obtain optical IAG:Nd ceramics with 40% laser generation efficiency.
