Control system was developed with the use of modern computer technique.. The main functional components of the apparatus (a vacuum system of the setup, a power supply system of the discharge chamber using industrial stabilized high-voltage unit IVN-100, a sample holder, a control mechanism of anode movement with respect to immoveable cathode on which the sample is holding) were constructed and mounted. Commissioning work was carried out and modes of experiments were studied.
