An subject of research is the investigation of reaction ability of N-phenyl(phenoxy, benziliden)acetyl-1,4-benzoquinonemonoimines in respect of alcohols, hydrohalogens, sodium arylsulfinates, potassium thiocyanate, revelation of rules of these reactions and establishment of structure of synthesized compounds. The methods of investigation are organic synthesis, NMR 1H and 13C spectroscopy, and quantum-chemical calculations. For the first time the reaction ability of new synthesized N-substituted 1,4-benzoquinoneimines has been investigated. The novelty of this work is determination how the structure of N-substituted 1,4-benzoquinoneimines influences on their reaction ability. That was possible due to use of modern experimental and theoretical methods for the decision of tasks in view of the project with use of new original ideas of authors of the project.
