It was established that in most cities of Ukraine air quality in nowadays does not meet sanitary standards. The concentrations of nitrogen dioxide and formaldehyde are at or above HDKs.d level. By the total pollution index of present in the air at the same time the most common contaminants the zoning of Ukraine was done. The short-term forecasting methods of air pollution for Lugansk and Zaporozhye cities based on multiple regression, taking into account not linear relations techniques was developed.
