The purpose of the research work is to make a theoretical foundation of modern determinates of the world economic development and to develop the practical guidelines for their influence on the functioning of the different countries of the world. Methods of research include systems approach and comprehensive analysis of abstraction, analysis and synthesis, measurement, factor analysis, compilation systems, comparison, hypothesis and supposition, observation, graphic interpretation, mathematical modeling of economic processes, synthesis of dialectical and historical methods of the research work. The research results identify a methodological approach to definition of concept of globalization as an objective reality of modern stage of development; analysis of the process on modern stage of the economic globalization; assessment of globalization as a basis for a common space of banks; the global transformation of world pension funds; export diversification of Ukraine in a preferential trade regime with the EU; the perspectives in development of investment activity in the context of international and regional integration; analysis of energy strategies in the rest of the world in the globalization context. The novelty of the research results are emphasized by the determinants of modern theoretical substantiation and developing the practical recommendations for a Ukrainian progress under globalization. The novelty of work is confirmed by using the results in further scientific researches of international economics faculty on the development of Ukrainian integration into the international economic community and participation in the international scientific-practical conference "Strategy of economic development under globalization", and in international, intercollegiate and national conferences. The results of research is implemented in the teaching process at DNU. The practical significance of the research results is that it can be used by the legislative and executive authorities, the relevant committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration in the practical works for resolving regional problems of Ukraine's integration into the world economy. Range of application of the research results is a Ukrainian foreign economic activity. The results could be used by Foreign Trade experts, the participants of the investment market in a period of determining its financial and foreign politics.
