A purpose of work is synthesis of new receptors containing fragments of the diphenyl glycoluril and benzo(dibenzo) crown ethers, study of their structure and interactions with the cations of the alkali metals and paraquat. Research methods - synthetic, UV, NMR, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, X-ray. We have shown that satisfactory yields of molecular clips containing the fragments of dibenzo-crown ethers, by the reaction of diphenylglycoluril's bisether with dibenzocrown ethers in polyphosphoric acid, can be achieved only with the protection of one of the benzene rings of the crown ether. Stability constants and stoichiometry of the complexes of molecular clips with alkali metal cations, and paraquat were determined by spectrophotometric titrations. The differences at the rows of the selectivity of the reaction molecular clips based on benzo- and dibenzo-18-crown-6 with alkali metal cations due to the formation of the structure of the "psevdo cryptand" were revealed. We have shown the additional stabilization of the complex with paraquat of molecular clips based on tetrafluorodibenzo-18-crown-6 due to the tetrafluorobenzene terminal fragments, which was confirmed by X-ray.
