It has been found that unfavorable conditions to the development of plankton algae are formed in the thickets of higher aquatic plants as a result of the decrease in light intensity. It has been seen that the increase in water temperature in cold period more essentially influences the development of plankton algae than its increase in summertime. The performed experiments have shown that the content of proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids in cells of green algae depend to a large extent on the stage of algal cultures growth, temperature regime of their cultivation, and also on the intensity of light and duration of exposure.
