Waterworks belong to potentially dangerous objects, which can cause accidents and emergency situations threatening to the lives and health of people, as well as for objects of the economy and the environment; a range of studies necessary for the creation of analytical information system of forecasting the probability of accidents and emergencies at waterworks using modern GIS technology was performed; the methods and models that make it possible to predict failure and emergency events, assess the risk of accidents and emergencies at waterworks to produce the best solutions for their prevention and minimizing their consequences were worked out.
