The aim is to develop recommendations that can improve the efficiency of the enterprises of holding type. To do this involves the following tasks: to identify the main factors of non-observed economy; improve methodological approaches and methodical approach to the use of contract shadow processes; to identify the main causes of non-observable processes in the domestic agricultural sector; based approaches and develop recommendations to improve the functioning of the enterprises of holding type in a non-observed economy. The subject of research are theoretical, methodological and methodical approaches to counter unobserved socio-economic processes that occur during the functioning of modern agricultural holdings. Theoretical and methodological basis of research was the theory of institutional change, government regulation of the economy, agency relations, contracts, work representatives of domestic and foreign scientific schools to combat the non-observed economy. In writing operation, the following basic methods and techniques: monographic method (the study of scientific papers on the functioning of the NOE) retrospective analysis (the analysis of the existing theories of contracts, government regulation, and others.); structural and logical generalization (the implementation of a theoretical generalization of work materials); statistical groupings and average (in identifying the main trends in socio-economic indicators that characterize the essence of the problem under investigation); induction, deduction and Systems Analysis (in the formulation of general algorithm opposition not observed economy); graphical method (used to illustrate the results of structural and logical schemes, phenomena and processes taking place in the national agrarian society), and others. Theoretical and practical result is a conceptual justification of the need to counter the non-observed economic processes that occur during the operation of agricultural holdings. The main methodological approach of improving counter non-observed economy is the recognition of the key role of institutions in the system of governance; hence the fundamental possibility of modeling the effectiveness of such a system in the context of the structural transformation of the socio-economic development of the enterprises of holding type.
