Purpose of research - to study the patterns of inheritance of morphological traits in mustard hybrids of spring generation F2 and F3; to select samples of spring and winter mustard with high performance, high-quality oil, distinctive morphological traits and based on them to create competitive varieties Research methods - field, laboratory and statistical. Patterns of inheritance of several morphological traits of bluish mustard hybrids F2 and F3 generation. Succession of three color types in mustard flowers (F2): pale yellow, cream and golden yellow in the cross system of 6 varieties was established causing two genes with a dominant gene epistasis of one over the other. Pale yellow color in mustard flower petals (F3) was established to cause at least two recessive genes, and cream - one. A collection of leaf mustard (salad type) and a collection of bluish mustard with morphological traits was created.. In different nurseries further tests highlighted breeding accessions that were significantly higher than control complex in agriculturally valuable traits. Mustard-rape hybrids were obtained and based on them, a new source for breeding material in obtaining varieties of winter mustard with increased frost resistance without reducing fatty acid composition of the oil. Mira ( Brassica juncea ) bluish mustard variety and Vesnyanka ( Sinapis alba) white mustard variety were created and tested by federal agency. Mishutka ( Brassica juncea ) winter mustard variety completed federal tests (year of transfer 2012).
