The subject of the study are nuclear power plants during decommissioning stages. The main goal of the study is development of scientific and methodological recommendations on the main areas of the works that are to be performed during all decommissioning stages, namely dismantling and decontamination of the equipment during NPP decommissioning on the basis of the systematic approach. It was developed the methodolody of optimization procedures regarding decontamination of equipment during the NPP decommissioning activities.
