The object of study - the process of military-Patriotic education of students in secondary and senior classes of secondary schools in extracurricular robot. Subject of research - organizational-pedagogical conditions of military-Patriotic education of students of secondary educational institutions in the process of extracurricular activities. Research methods: theoretical (analysis, comparing, classifying, summarizing data); empirical (pedagogical experiment - formative), methods of mathematical statistics. The novelty of the work done: proved organizational and pedagogical conditions of military-Patriotic education of pupils of secondary educational institutions in the process of extracurricular work (assimilation of scientific knowledge about the history of the school, district, Ukraine); familiarity with the forms of military-Patriotic work (tourist trips, competitions), awareness of the nature of military-Patriotic education as a component of Patriotic education that involves the active participation of citizens in maintaining security of Ukraine concerning external threats and the formation of the growing person's readiness to defend the Fatherland, the development of motivation to receive military training and to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine; providing emotional and moral impact on students, with the purpose of formation of positive feelings from games martial art named horting-Patriot, "Sokil" ("Dzhura"); organization of tourist trips to places of military glory, training in sports sections of Horting for the realization of their personal qualities. Degree of implementation: the results of the formative stage of the research were implemented in the pilot schools, articles, abstracts and materials international, national, and reporting of scientific-practical conferences and other analytical materials.
