The aim is to develop a purification process pumpkin table and its hardware design. Subject of research - the melons, pumpkins particular table, technical maturity, cutting and transporting units, Experimental units working machine designed for cleaning the pumpkin. Analysis methods of cleaning the pumpkin table allowed to find out that existing equipment is energy-intensive and material-has significant dimensions, ineffective application requires manual labor. Removal of possible deficiencies cited by developing a new way of treatment and development of advanced resource-saving equipment for the purification process. A new way to clean pumpkin, which is a combination of two operations performed sequentially: the top layer steaming and cleaning brush elements to remove skin from the surface of the pumpkin. On the basis of previous studies has been developed and designed a machine to clean the pumpkin MOG-350. The design was grounded, operating parameters and geometric dimensions of cutting and transporting machines for cleaning melons on the example of the pumpkin. It was calculated of the basic units of machines pumpkin MOG-350. The use of machines designed for cleaning of pumpkin provides full mechanization of its clearing of a peel and seeds, as well as intensifying the process of manufacturing various products with pumpkin table. By reducing the costs of the cleaning process and optimization of machine development costs, implementation of energy-saving cleaning process pumpkin than projected economic benefits for social benefits by reducing production costs, which will be more accessible to different segments of the population.
