Objective is ascertainment of patterns and parameters of raionalnih effective separation, dehydration, and energy transformation of carbonaceous feedstock selection and justification of the promising methods for disposal of low-grade heat. The research methods are the mathematical and physical modeling, analytical and experimental research. A mathematical model of polyfrequency vibrating screen with limited power vibration exciters and method of numerical analysis of the model are developed. Resonant modes of oscillation in vibration systems with movement limiters and driven by an inertial oscillation vibration exciter were first founded. A mathematical model for numerical calculation of the energy conversion of carbonaceous feedstock and the definition of rational parameters of the plasma reactor was developed. The stand for research of gasification and control means and  supplying  means of the pulverized fuel with the oxidant in the reaction zone of the chamber were developed and manufactured. The processes of high-temperature transformations (T> 2000K) of carbon-containing media in the chamber of the plasma reactor were investigated and the influence of thermal and kinetic parameters of the process at the time of full conversion of coal particles and at their heat and mass transfer with gaseous fluid was determine. Appropriateness of increasing of the gases temperature in the reactor chamber to T = 3500K, which determines the minimum value of the conversion time was proved. The values of oxidizer flow rates for various grades of coal during steam plasma gasification (0.35 - 0.45) were determined. Based on analysis the methods of heat and mass transfer intensification during coal preparation to processing by addition surfactants in infiltrating medium and by superposition of different external power fields were selected. Technical solutions differing high energy efficiency on the basis of contactless heat exchangers are proposed. This will increase power production by 15 - 20% and to increase the overall efficiency of the GPU power generation to 50%. The results enable to create a more complete theory and methods of calculation of effective separation, dehydration, thermochemical conversion and utilization of low-grade heat energy transformation processes in carbon-containing medium. The research results will be used to determine the rational parameters of the equipment in power and chemical industries.
