During heating over 139 С degree increasing of bismuth concentration in near-surface layers is observed. Besides that, after first heating at the surface appear prominences, which don't disappear after cooling. These prominences are probably bismuth crystals, which are formed because in this temperature and concentration interval in the alloy can exist crystal-liquid phase. Phase diagram shown at figure 7 can prove this fact. We continued modernization of computer code for simulation of RBS spectra in a special case when specimen is a drop of liquid metal. Besides that we provide experimental validation of simulation results and validation with the use of existing computer codes for RBS spectra simulation. Compact multi-purpose monochromator (manufactured by JSC Azov Optics-Mechanics Plant, Ukraine) which is used as a part of data acquisition system of ion luminescence end-station was modernized. Optical emission registration is carried out by the CCD sensor mounted at the monochromator. Such modernization allows recording spectrum over a range of wavelengths. The monochromator transformed into a polychromator. Systems of the CCD sensor and the diffraction grid are developed.
