Semenenko Institute of Geochemistry, mineralogy and Ore Formation popup.description2 Subject of research is zones of alkali-type metasomatism in the East Azov Region and zones of metasomatism in the Kirovograd megablock as objects for prospecting for ores of rare-metal and rare-earth elements. Work objective is delineation of areas promising for exploration of endogenous mineralization of strategic minerals in the East Azov Region (rare and rare-earth elements) and in the Kirovograd megablock (precious and radioactive metals) with the help of geoelectrical (magnetotelluric) methods. As a result, we allocated space, promising to search for ores of the rare and rare-earth elements, gold and uranium mineralization and made of predictive geological and geophysical evaluation. The results will be used to predictive geological and geophysical evaluation of the areas with the endogenous mineralization and metasomatic zones of Azov and Kirovograd block of the Ukrainian shield and for building schematic forecast metallogenic maps of areas, promising to search for occurrences of mineral strategic resources.
