The object of study - the gold-bearing weathering crust. Purpose - to develop geochemical criteria for prospecting of gold in the weathering crusts of the crystalline basement of the Ukrainian Shield (Brusilovsk suture zone and adjacent areas). Research methods - chemical, ion-selective, atomic absorption, thermodynamic analysis, mathematical modeling and others. The geochemical features of the bedrock, as a source of gold for the supergene his concentration; The main factors and mechanisms of concentration of gold in various physical and chemical conditions of the environment; Correlation of gold content in the gold-bearing weathering crusts with the development of tectonic structures; defined territory, promising to set targets for the search for gold weathering crusts. For example, certain areas of the territory Brusilovsky suture zone ("Sidor", "Krylovka", "Belka", "Svitintsy") has developed a new technology of the search for gold in the weathering crusts of the mobile forms of chemical elements in surface sediments: in zones of tectonic disturbances on the anomalies of mobility forms As and Li (multiplicative coefficient - As х Li) in the areas of zones of tectonic stability - of the anomalies of mobile forms of Y, Yb (multiplicative coefficient - Y х Yb). It is found that the mineralized area can be determined by the content of gold in the plant ash (Elytrigia), which is the hub of gold.Results of research are taken to produce in the search for gold in the weathering crusts.
