The object of research is national production of motor fuel. Methods of research are theoretical generalization, analysis, synthesis, system analysis, balance method, comparison. Stages of technological development of the synthetic liquid fuels production and modern types of such fuel production are researched and generalized. Comparative analysis of modern technologies of coal processing into synthetic motor fuel is spent. The choice of the most perspective technology of the synthetic motor fuels production, in conditions of the source base of Lvov-Volyn coal basin, is realized. The main technic-economical characteristics of the hi-technological industrial complex of the synthetic motor fuel production are justified. The areas for the motor fuel plants placement and technological scheme of its production based on the Fisher-Tropsch method are grounded. The results of the scientific research are using in the practical activity of the regional governments and local self-government.
