The aim of the research is development of theoretical and methodological foundations of mechanisms for the implementation of the national innovation strategy in the conditions of globalization challenges, government regulation of the introduction of such mechanisms, instruments of formation, criteria for assessing their effectiveness. The methodological basis of the study is the dialectical method of knowledge of economic phenomena and processes; also used structural-functional, historical and economic method, system, complex, statistical and economic analysis, the comparative method. The practical significance of the results is the development of a number of theories, concepts and methods of strategic management of innovation processes in the economy; determining the methodological basis of the mechanism of realization of innovative strategy in terms of factors, principles, methods of their formation and implementation; assessing the status of development and implementation of mechanisms for the implementation of innovative strategies in Ukraine and identify trends and patterns of the process; establishing the characteristics of the impact of globalizatsionnnyh calls on the formation and implementation of innovation strategies; Exposure of system characteristics and features of existing mechanisms for the implementation of national innovation strategies; development of complex measures on formation of preconditions and ways to ensure the implementation of mechanisms for the implementation of innovative strategies in Ukraine.
