The mathematical modelling is conducted and models of the following are developed and improved: hydrogeological component of the geological medium; pedosphere of Ukraine; various genetic types of complex-built rocks-reservoirs of oil and gas according to geophysical data. The following techniques are developed for solving of fundamental and applied problems: complex interpretation of geophysical tomography data; environmental geophysical investigations in the study of geochemical pollution; inductive analysis of transient processes which is based on the use of integrated temporal characteristics of non-stationary magnetic fields; non-destructive archaeological and geophysical investigations in Ukraine; building of dynamic geological and geophysical models of pedosphere; use of local and regional monitoring hydrogeological component of the geological medium; more precise definition of limit values for capacitive and filtration properties of complex-built rocks based on logging; numerical evaluating of the impact of dangerous geological processes on the functioning of natural and industrial systems. The following prototypes are developed: automated system of numerical and graphical analysis of anisotropy parameters of elastic waves in anisotropic reservoirs; monitoring systems of hydrogeological component of the geological medium; multielectrode installation for electrical tomography; electronic database of geological data. The structure of information-analytical system of monitoring and predictive assessment of natural and man-made systems is developed. The concept of geological information databases, criteria and methodology for structuring geological data is developed. The theories and methods for constructing of geological and geophysical models are practically implemented and examples of their application to specific geological objects of Ukraine are given.
