Objective of investigation stage: scientific substantiation of the preparation program for female athletes with iron deficiency states and aerobic-anaerobic loads, young female athletes in order to preserve their reproductive health. Оbject of study: training process, specifics of elite female athlete preparation. Subject of study: correlation between functional and psychological adaptation of elite fe-male athletes and their special work capacity at different phases of menstrual cycle. Меthods of study: pedagogical, medico-biological, clinico-laboratorial, statistical. Results of study: Individual approach to preparation of elite female athletes with iron defi-ciency states, specialized in sports events with preferential development of endurance has been substantiated; its specifics consists in account for the biological peculiarities of female body, iron deficiency states expressiveness, correction of load, nutrition, on the basis of which programs of microcycles within basic mezocycle of preparatory period at the stage of maximal realization of individual capacities have been designed. The program of structure and content of preparatory period basic mezocycle has been scientifically substantiated for elite female athletes specialized in judo that takes into account psychological, functional peculiarities of female body at different phases of menstrual cycle. Causes of impaired biological maturation of young female athletes, their reproductive health have been determined. Lack of cyclic changes in special work capacity and functional state of males as opposed to females of the same specialization and skill level has been scientifically substantiated.
