The theoretical results of DS analysis and control synthesis are primarily focused on the development of precision control systems for orientation and navigation of current and future space crafts with increased autonomy and operation reliability in space. The results: Robust methods of ellipsoidal estimation of state vectors and DC parameters under given guaranteed restrictions on the intensity of measurement noise and external disturbances are developed. The developed robust estimation methods are used to obtain estimates of current parameters of the spacecraft orientation under incompleteness and uncertainty of measurement data of on-board devices. Estimation methods of DS range sets under restricted external disturbances are developed and applied to the evaluation of range sets of spacecraft orientation control systems. Based on these methods, ellipsoidal approximation trajectory tubes for spacecraft orientation control were constructed for the first time. The effectiveness of the developed methods was confirmed by the results of computer simulation of the dynamics of a spacecraft orientation control system, which was used to compare the topological properties of the range sets and corresponding boundary sets. It is shown that common use of range sets and boundary sets provides better accuracy estimates of spacecraft orientation control than each of them separately. An algorithm for adaptive control of spacecraft orientation redundant systems of electric flywheel (EDM) and recovery of their controllability using Earth's magnetic field is developed.
