The object of the investigation - the process of improving competitiveness and efficiency of agricultural production. The subject of the investigation - the set of scientific and methodological aspects of competitiveness and efficiency of agricultural production. The aim of the investigation - to study the scientific foundations for competitiveness of agricultural production in order to increase effective activities of businesses and industries in agricultural sector of Ukraine. Methods - monographic; computative-constructible, economic-statistical, analysis and synthesis, abstract-logical, scientific comparison, strategic and functional analysis, organizational and adaptive modeling, typological method of analysis and organization development. Theoretical and practical results - theoretical and methodological principles for ensuring the competitiveness of agricultural production and improving the efficiency of agricultural production; strategic directions of development of agriculture of Ukraine till 2020; proposals for the new edition of the Law "On interbranch relations in economy Ukraine" (Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine); the offers: "On the organizational and economic improvement of sugar beet subcomplex of Ukraine" (Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine); forecast of the production costs, its profitability, profitability of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine; calculation of cost and efficiency cereals; calculation of gross expenses for crops production in Ukraine (Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine); forecast of crop production in Ukraine; forecast production in Ukraine of grains and legumes (NAAS); calculation soybean production by forms of management (Ukrainian association of producers and processors of soybeans). Novelty - grounded and established the resource-technological concept of competitiveness increasing, the essence of which is the further guiding the production to rational use of resources and innovative technologies that promote the formation of product competitiveness of agricultural enterprises in terms of strengthening integration processes; proposed formula for calculating the normative price of 1 ton of agricultural products and made conceptual conclusion that market conditions regulator of production should not be considered profitability, and profit margins as the ratio of profit to average annual value of fixed assets, including the cost of land and working capital in view of their term of turnover in a year; The methodical approaches to the assessment of competitiveness of products, which makes it possible to identify the types of products that are competitive in a particular enterprise, define a region in which the products are competitive, to calculate the impact of resources in production depending on the market environment and regional deployment. It is proved that the main indicator that reflects the competitiveness of the agricultural enterprise level, it is appropriate to consider the rate of return on the level of the region and the country - the amount of profit per unit of agricultural land and per head of animals. Efficiency of implementation - annual efficiency of innovation in agricultural enterprises amount to 92 billion UAH, which is almost 3 times more than in 2014. The required efficiency will be obtained mainly through implementations such as rational use of straw -52.6 billion UAH; production of biodiesel from rapeseed - 3.3 billion UAH; efficiency of sugar subcomplex - 22,5 billion UAH, of which you are among farms has 1.5 billion UAH due to higher prices for beet and molasses; obtaining ethanol from corn - 4.7 billion UAH; the number of cows increased concentration - 2.8 billion UAH .; cows productivity growth - 1.5 billion UAH; cattle productivity growth - 1.2 billion; growth performance of pigs - 1.2 billion UAH and others. Forecasting of production costs, yields and profitability of agricultural enterprises will enable to have an annual profit on the level of 4.0 billion UAH, and increasing intensification of production in crop and livestock will annually receive 5.5 billion UAH and 0.4 billion UAH respectively. Determined that the use of advanced technologies in crop income will increase by 2.2 billion UAH was set up for leveling intersectoral economic relations will provide the revenue at 6.8 billion UAH. Scope (industry) use - management development agricultural production sector of the agricultural sector of Ukraine and household formation.
