The hybrid configuration was produced by switching off from power source one of toroidal (of 16 in total) coil. Due to this the depression of magnetic field intensity was ~50%. To produce plasma the same RF antennas were used as in regular torioidal magnetic configuration (without switching off the toroidal coil). For better efficiency of plasma production the three-half-turn antenna was modernized. The looking-for better regime of installation operation was realized by changing the working gas pressure (hydrogen) and the ratio K of toroidal component of magnetic field produced by helical coils to the total intensity of toroidal magnetic field (produced by helical and toroidal coils together). A reliable regime for plasma production was realized with K values below those for a standard torsatron regime. By a soft x-ray technique and analysis of CV line radiation intensity a heating of plasma electrons was registered. The chord distributions of CV line intensities indicate that this radiation is concentrated near center of plasma confinement volume, the border of which was localized by means of electric probe measurements. In a standard torsatron regime, when measuring chord distributions of H-alpha line luminosity, the fluctuations of its intensity were observed, what can be a subject of further, more detail study.
