Fadieienko, Registration Date 22-01-2016 Organization Government institution "L.T. Malaya Therapy Institute National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" popup.description2 300 patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease were included in the study. We performed general clinical and anthropometric examination, ultrasound abdominal examination, measuring of the carotid intima-media complex thickness, epicardial fat thickness, investigation of lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, liver function tests, genetic methods for the determination of allelic polymorphism rs1044471 ADIPOR2. It was found that the leading role in the mechanisms of fatty liver disease assigned to insulin resistance, which is based on an excessive development of visceral fat and abdominal type of obesity, what are significantly influenced by the genetic factor, namely the presence of the T allele at a polymorphic gene ADIPOR2. It was revealed that in patients with TT genotype compared with native genotypes TC and CC were significantly higher concentrations of total cholesterol, triglycerides, fasting glucose, insulin resistance index HOMA-IR, aspartate amino trasferase, alanine amino trasferase, gamma glutaminetrasferase, the higher the degree of hepatic steatosis and the degree of cardiovascular risk. We developed an algorithm of early diagnosis and prevention of cardiovascular disease in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Product Description popup.authors Висоцька О.В. Кірюхіна О.В.
